autumn's harvest

{Flower Harvest Vintage Charm Necklace available here}

The weather has been unbelievably wild and windy here these past couple of days that I doubt there's a single bloom in our garden now. But in my mind, it would be full of amethyst, lilac and heather purples paired with ambers, russets and ochres. Oh, and yellow daisies too. Plus a supply of pine cones for the fireside and lots of golden leaves to crunch on ...

And you?

  2. We've had so much rain you could almost go for a swim at the bottom of our garden but the little bulbs are beginning to push their way through, bless them!!!
    As for your necklace, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. :) The colours are so stunningly beautiful!

  7. Lovely piece and you have captured it so well. The weather has been dark for about a week and has rained for the past 35 hours, no flowers. But my paper whites are almost ready :)

  9. Lots of wind had scattered leaves here too, but there is still the odd tree clinging on!

    We are going out on a daily basis collecting fir cones - with all this wind - they are plentiful.

  14. I spotted three yellow roses in the garden today! Lovely surprise that! My mind is full of silver glass beads at the moment, as I'm making something for a commission, not jewellery, something else, will show it on my blog at some point I imagine. I love your list of colours, and your beautiful necklace, the colours are delicious! And your Tova dress, what a stunner, I managed to stop myself from pressing the buy button, as I still have a dress from the summer I haven't finished yet! Such control. I do love your check obsession, you look like you live in the charmed and beautiful world of Toast! Vanessa xxx

There's nothing like a comment to stop me feeling like I'm talking to myself. If you leave one here I'll pop one back here too, so don't forget to come back and continue the conversation ..
